Default Fountain "HISTORY" at Shogren

Wouldn't it be cool to own the first Fountain EVER?

I have seen the boat in person, it is in brand new condition.

However for the 510K price tag.......

It is a beautiful resto, but why in god's name did they not change out the cabin carpet. It looks like it sat for a long time full of water.

Neat piece of history for we Fountain fans, but I can not in my wildest dreams imagine anyone paying over half a mil for it. Has happened in the auto world where the "firsts" have gone at auctions such as Barrett Jackson for ungodly numbers, but I just don't see it in the performance boat world.

I wish Shogren luck and all with selling it, but if I were a mega Fountain dealer I think I would just keep it. What a showroom piece and statement that would be!

For some strange reason I just don't see Shogren having it on their books quite that high.
