Dookie

We had a GPS the day it was in the 80's (AIR TEMP LOL), 5 guys and my wife with a full tank of fuel ,on dead flat fresh water. 81 or so on GPS.

The wish a meter was dead on up to 70, at 81 it read 85.
Motors were turning 5000 rpm.

I agree with the other guys, put the 30's on run it, then send them to BB Blades to tweek them in if needed.
Coming on plane, I tuck the drives and drop tabs, it comes up very easy.

Ragged Edge,
Did the Bravo's drop mid range rpm's?

Forgot, your steps are different, don't know why they changed them but they did sometime in 1999.

Little bit, the Bravos were better on plane and at lower and mid range speeds. The Hydro's were better from 4000, or so, on up.

You guys invest way to much time and thought into this stuff. It's just to easy to ask someone who can get it right the first time, without much effort.

Good luck to you guys.

Well it's winter and we're a little bored.

THe good ol Dirty South. South Alabama , I assure you guys , that you are not missing a thing here .
Weather has been absolutely miserable for what seems like a month.
I have been dragging around pulling the boat out and dissambling the bilge, mainly because of work. But the nasty weather just makes it so much harder to drag myself out in.
COnsidering dragging it to a local fiberglass guy and getting him to do it.

27 Hydro vs 27 mirage

I have a 35 Cafe Cig and I run the 27 Hydro's at 5200 rpm (624 HP) but I cant push my 27 (3 blade)Mirage Plus up in the 5200 range - Maybe you should try them out - I have them up for sales/offers
