Default Black dash mat/anti glare mat

Need help on this one. 99 27 Fever. The black "sticker" on the dash is coming up and has actually shrunk a little as it came up on the driver side. Anyone just removed the damn thing all together? It's the only think on my boat that looks like chit. Looks like it would be a pain to take off and leave a sticky mess. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Yes, the one across the top under the windshield. I think they only use it on the models with glass windshields...I have a fever II with the framed glass windshield.

Might be a time consuming task, but a heat gun and some patience it should come right off. Then get an adhesive residue remover like what would be used in a body shop to clean up what's left. Make sure that whatever chemical you use will not effect the gelcoat. New material you should be able to get from Fountain and I would guess pre cut to fit.

The drawback, in my mind, to it not being there with the dark tint windshield would be glare off the white gel dash reflecting up and limiting visibility.
