I am seriously considering the 29-31' Sportfisher Cabin Cruiser but wonder why there are so few on the West Coast? Have heard rumors that they do not ride well on the West Coast but knowing the offshore racing history of Fountain, I find that difficult to believe. Good fishing in San Diego is often 60-100 miles so something that does 20 knots is just too slow - these Fountain seem like a great combo to get me fishing fast.

Any comments are appreciated as I am about two months away from purchase and want to make sure I am getting the right boat.
