He is a friend of mine, Darrel Betler is his name. He is from Chicago area and has a condo at LOTO. I have his # if you want, how can you be reached?

Boat came from Shorgen's new, likes to throw prop blades. Keep extra's around.

Do you know what type of props were on it? What brand? Did this happen often?

we saw one at the Jacksonville run this year that had thrown a blade and wedged it in the swim platform.

I think the first set were cleavers, then he tried some brass props that didn't last long at all. The set that were on it end of last year a guy made out of a different type of metal. I can call him and get more info or you can call Scott Shogren and ask him.

The owner took very good care of the boat, the props were the only issue I know of and as I understand it Fountain knows it's a problem with those motors.

Triple diesels, Yanmars I believe. Don’t remember the horsepower, but it runs in the 60's and throws a very impressive rooster tail. It’s white with a copper bottom, bow thruster, gen, etc.

Very loaded boat and well taken care of. It’s got a Focal speakers and a stereo system that rocks too.

I’ve spent a decent amount of time with him at LOTO.

The majority of the 48's early on came with yanmar 440's, then later 480's all hooked up to Arneson #8's.. Props I believe were 6 blade Rolla's.. Later on around 07 Cummins came into play with the same drives..These boats have even been seen witrh triple 525's and I heard a rumor 1 with trip 700's and nxt drives.
