Thanks! That was the launch with the two freshened 500's after one was bitten by the Crane valve spring bug. Kinda odd pic, but rather cool. Really cool deal was I had asked my engine guy if I was going to have to F' with the timing when I went to fire them the first time ........ his answer was "check them after the run for a while, but they are real close". He was only off 1 degree, and he set them on his shop floor, guy knows his chit, gotta' love that.
Same deal, slightly different perspective.

I polished a '99 47 and noticed that it had a very high quality painted Fountain-logos. I love the quality of these boats. They are made to last. I have the chome lettering on my 2004 29 Fever. They look nice, but didn't like salt acid. They got a lot better when polishing them, but no where like new. They are chromed plastic.... Personally, I think it don't look right tp put on new lettering on a earlier boat. It don't look original anymore. My opinion though...
