Anyone put higher horsepower in any type cruiser model and hit higher than typical 60 -70mph speeds?

We built a 48EC with triple 700SC's and it ran 90. We put whipples on a 38EC with 500EFI's and it ran 88.

90 in a 48.... That must be fun! Did you use the Arneson drives, or replaced with something else?? What about selling this package with one year of fuel included?? Just adjusting the price? Should be one hell of a great summer for the one that buys it!!!

I have to ask what did this rig cost?? Obviously it had surface drives (Twin Disc)?

My 32 Sportfish Cruiser tops out at 70 mph with twin 454 Magnums (385HP each).
