Thanks 10X, we may get out your way for Shogren fun run. Would be great to run along with you to compare the difference in attitude of the two boats.
Couch Racin, here is a shot from side. I do not think the drives look too big at all, just makes the Bravos look too small !

I am a service consultant here at Legendary Marine. We are in te middle of repowering a 35 stag/525 set up with the 700's and 6's. ONce completed, I will give the numbers we are able to acheive. Brian mentioned at the factory they tested Kelly O' originally with the NXT drives on it but it was to squirly. WHat type of speed's did you see Kelly O before you put the 600's back in it?

True statement from the front office.
I bought boat after 700's were removed and 600's were installed. Ran 108 with 600's.
Apparently with 700's and #6's it got loose over 120 so they added 1"spacers to drives and put limiters on tab cylinders so could not free boat up enough to run over 120, to make it safe enough to deliver to original owner.

Well, I am anxious to see the real weight diffrence between the 3's and 6's. The inner transom plate is smaller on the 6, the steering rams, etc...
Someone could have a really nice set up on a 650-700hp boat. We have the transmissions, inner transom plates, freshly rebuilt drives with 0 hours, props, steerling pums, brackets, etc.... half the price of a new set of 6's.
This 35 ran 98 with about 700hp, 1.5's, 17.5 x 28 props.
