Hi, just bought a -99 42 Ex with 3x600 montage. I dont live in the US but since the market for Fountain boats is much bigger in the US than in Europe you might be able to give me some good advise. Is this an optimal montage and how does it affect the handling of the boat? I havent had the chance to ride the boat yet. Are there any specific things I should be aware of?

Can't really answer your question, but afaik the twin staggered are commonly considered the best layout for 42' hulls.
Where are you exactly in EU? I've yet to see ANY 42' around here....
