Default Tubing-time!!

This is the dumbest question ever... has anyone tried tubing behind a Fountain?? My kids want to tube behind our 35. I think with the tabs down and drives in it's possible... I suppose it will be tough to see, looking at the sky and all, but everyone else will move (Capt. Ron moment...)

Anyone else tried?

Well, my 29 has toe hooks just above the rubrail and below the swim platform. My girls have mentioned to me about getting the Sumo out behind it. Its bound to be one hell of a ride!! Best make sure the rope is good and long!!

I think I'll get the camcorder out and get one of my buddies behind me first. There is bound to be a "Hey, watch this!!!! Hold my beer" moment in there somewhere!!!!

My boy's tube and wake board behind ours (38 Fever). They doubted it at first, now they are hooked. Fuel wise I probably could buy a wake board boat after the last few seasons.

Wait, I have a stupidier question (yeah, I said stupidier). My kids want me to keep the mufflers on while they tube, and I've got the old style Gil mufflers. How fast you think I can run with them on? I'm sure something bad has to happen at some point.

By the way "Hold my beer moments" are what I live for....

We tubed behind my 35 with my girls a few times. Drives in tabs down. They didn't like to go too fast which was good. I didn't like the way it felt on the boat though. My buddy does it all the time with his 32 and the boat seems to like it much better than my 35 did.

Just don't go and wip them around. they would fly about 90 feet inthe air i bet and someone could get hurt. you need at least 75 feet of rope I imagine

I didn't see it but a friend pulled his stepson behind his 42 triple.

That had to be one to see.

I've pulled a tube a few times with my 47. It is fine as long as the rope is long enough and you stay slow (low 20's at most)

I got the Amberjack up to around 40mph with a tuber, it has twin smallblocks which create some big troughs to either side. Once you get out of the groove, it's all over but the crying. Fun stuff.
