Some people get spinning in and out backwards, I always went by looking at the back of the boat the starboard prop turns counterclockwise is spinning in, whick should give more bow lift and spinning out gives more stern lift[but a more stable ride]

Turn the props out and try different style props to achieve what you're looking for.
