Default More options for gauges

I just got this 91 Fever and looking to update the gauges, swithces, dash panel and throttles. Just a got a quote back from lavorsi for almost 4 grand. I realize anything that has marine/performance on it, is going to equal$$$ But just looking for a little more economical approach. Dont know if fountain offers upgrade kits or anything.

I had a similar thread on this subject as I am in the process of doing mine, it sounded like a lot of guys sent their old gauges off and had them reconditioned. Search for the thread, I think it is "Dash Upgrade." You can save a lot of money that way but I went with all new, spent about 5k for all the parts and now waiting to get it all installed. Good luck!

hey thanks, yeah that might work. maybe im cheap but to spend what it cost on some simplete peices of plastic that are worth a quarter what they want is rediculous in my mind. But ill check it out.

I know 4K is alot of money but I look at it this way...The Dash is really all that I see while boating. So I want to be looking a something nice. I spent 5K for my setup and never looked back.

Right there with ya! I think a good looking flashy dash can really make the interior of your boat stand out!!

yeah i hear ya, looks nice and all, really cant justify the cost right now, and even if i could still getting ripped off my simple peices of plastic. But between finding some gauges used and a local painter im sure i could get something good.
