Had a 38/600 boat, it ran 93 very light load, with Maximus props. 90 any other day of the week. Thats why I bought the 38/700 boat!! You owned a Fountain before, so you know this but it wont hop like a 28 Skater until you get to around 70, Im sure you will miss that!!!

It was fast. Also had sportmasters. Cash Bar and I saw at least 95 out of a 42 PR w/ 525's. THAT was impressive.

What are you refering to "hop" .... accelerate hard ? yes it will be a hard decision, will have to do alot of research/ rides. My Skater right now will out accelerate most any "big" powered V on the lake up to 100.It is hard to go slower, however I would have alot more useable boat.
A perfect world I would have both and a center console too

What about the cabin ? Does it stay together when you pound the **** out of the boat in Real Rough water( Atlantic or rough Gulf, not rough lake water).Like I stated before that was my Only dislike of my 10 Meter.

meant mid 80's on the 42
