Default Gas cap - which one

I lost my gas cap on the starboard side on my 2004 35x today. I thought it would be a simple matter and picked up what looked like a replacement at my marina. It didnt fit. Does anyone know which manufacturer fountain was using in 04 and where I can get a replacement cap? Any help would be much appreciated - thanks

My marina found a temporary UGLY, and I mean UGLY replacemant for me to use and along with some shrink wrap tape will serve the purpose. Man, I am desperate and appreciate your response. Thanks, and I will call Fountain on Monday. Any body else out there know for sure?

West Marine carries the SS cap for the Perko filler. It is about $70. They should fly a pirate flag!
