My brother-in-law had either a 06 or 07 with trip 525s....it was a high 80 to low 90 mph boat....the ride was perfect...it never felt at all uncomfortable at those speeds.....his only issue was breaking bravo drives but he was also heavy on the sticks

I have an older 47 but would never trade it because it rides so well on the Great Lakes and I can also trailer it to different places (although it is BIG on the trailer). Speed varies quite a bit with the same power from boat to boat. Shogren sells a lot of them and the guys are very honest about speed of each boat, etc. I would call them and ask.
