Sorry , it's a 98 . You know your Fountains .
Picked the boat up yesterday and just want to do fluids , blower oil and a detailed inspection . I'll hopefully splash it Sunday , the hurricane is supposed to be in our area Fri through Saturday . |
Actually that is a really good boat. You could point that boat in the direction of a concrete wall and it would mow right through it. My brother had a 98 sv hull with trip hp500s and it was the best riding boat in the rough I have ever been in. Should run upper 80's and touch 90. That boat hauls ass!

I was able to get my original test sheet from Fountain .

I didn't realize they still did triple's in 99.
Fountain built several triple 99's by the way. Triple engine installation was an option through 2002 RAF |
I ran 84 on gps today with the 28 pitch 5 blades , 4 guys and chock full tanks , temp in the upper 70's . All looks well .
The hull seems to run kind of flat , have you guys noticed it with your Fountains ? My 35 also seemed the same . Should I look for wheels that give some bow lift ? |
