After months of looking, I have my new to me, 42 Lightning. What a fantastic machine. I can't wait to get her in some big water.

Yes, I did get the one from Harrison Marine. It needs an outdrive repair and lots of cleaning, but the gel coat looks like new.

There was a similar 42' Patriot for sale at a marina off Jefferson that was on the cover of the Fountain advertisement back in ~ 2000. Any idea if this is the same boat? I would bet it is.

Congrats, you will love it in the big water.

I'm picking up my 4th Fountain this week. Looked for something different and kept coming back to the same thing for some reason.

It is the same boat. It is on the Anchor Bay Marina brochure. She was very dirty. I have been cleaning for almost a week.

Can someone give me a hint on uploading photos?

I need to correct what I said. It was NOT the boat for sale at Hideaway Harbor. That boat is a 1999 and was very nice. The photo from Anchor Bay Marina had two 42 Lightnings with the same paint scheme.
