Default Looking for a 29 fountain to buy this winter.

Selling my 25 outlaw and thinking about a 29 fountain. I want a single 525, preferably 04 or newer with a low windshield. Anything I should be aware of?

Default 29 Fountain

Good choice - I have a 2002 with a 500 EFI - very fuel efficient and can move out when needed. Great performance boat and I like the looks of the low windshield. I consistently get cavitation around 3100 RPM, so I stay away from that range. I have tried a few other 29's with no problem, so it may just be my prop.......other than that, no problems.

Windsheilds can be changed. A friend changed his from a low to a mid. Sold the low one and was not out to much $.
MY 29 is in the OSO classifieds.

That LOTO 29 appears to need a little TLC! Drive lube monitor looks low/empty and the coolant tank is low too. Lot's of mildew/grime and the photo-guy didn't take his shoes off when standing on the sunpad! Oh the horror!

Maybe me, but looks like it was put away wet routinely.

Not to mention how chalky looking the top of the drive is
