I like that look too. If I have it right, on my older gauges Livorsi said they couldn't put the carbon look on them, I would have had to replace them all.

At least I THINK that is what they said.

BTW

Why the standoff box on the throttle on that 35?

The dash on the "new style" cockpit are not as angled and I think that is the reason to bring it closer to the driver. I notice a big difference between angles from my old 42 and this one. It is a lot more vertical on my 35 then the 99 42 and it puts the dash further away.........if that is not the reason, it at least sounds good!!! haha

The new dash design on the fountains is one of the best on the market.. IMO of course. That 35 at double R is sick!

You went from a 42 to a 35?

How does the 35 do in rough water?

What is the real speed you get on the 35?

Yes, went form the 42 to the 35, we really like the 35 but obviously sacrfice ride in rougher water but I will give it to the 35.....handles itself allright.....really only twice this summer that I thought...man the 42 would be nice to have back....hahaha.....most we saw with maximus props was 98mph....I did 94mph with 4 grown men, ok amount of fuel, that impressed me to be honest with that kind of weight in the boat. having said all that, I have never gotten more than 5050RPM - 5080 RPM at WOT in any scenario, motors are fine, leakdown and compression done at end of season......might buy a set of herrings and see the difference, I have been told 2-3mph across the board.....not sure if that is true or not.

The spacer behind the controls is for clearance for the sliding door into the cabin.

yes, I just confirmed that, I'm having my '98 dash/gauges refurbished by livorsi & carbon fiber is not an option on the older style gauge:mad:
