Yep, got the boat from Shogren, great guy!

Expecting 840-850 on the motors. I upgraded the drives to SCX last year. Running 32 6 blade Herings and 1:36 gear in lower.

btw...i did read the post about Griffen. I hope that doesnt happen to me. I just wouldn't think Fountain would use him if he was not putting out a quality rebuild/product. Sucks what happened to others though.

Thanks for the pic! The sand, boat and young lady all look amazing. Did you get rained on? Looks like a storm blowing in. It also doesn't look like TN sand?

Doesn't Joey's wife work at Fountain too?

Hering just came out with some nice seven blades!

Wow did we wreck a thread or what?

I'm using sportmaster lowers. Sorry I dont know the drive shaft height.

Going to 6 blades and going from 1:50 gears to the 1:36 made a huge difference. 12+mph gain.

Sorry for the hijack! LOL...hey..u guys asked for the pics!

She might make it to JOTJ! She is damn good on the throttles too!

I also have 1.36 gears -2 shorty sportmasters , boat was setup to 09 specs so my shaft height about -1 above the bottom, so im worried about slinging more blades , allready lost 1 blade on a herring 5 blade, with the new power we will see what happens . Thinking about going to the scx lowers and using #6 props , but dont want to change to many things at once.

You're right, got any more?

Oh I like it when they drive, I have to trick my wife into it. She would rather not.
