Cool props. Only heard of one other boat with them, but no results, so this should be interesting. Good luck with those.

Their is a 38/600 boat locally here that runs a set of those 7 blade Hering's. First time I saw them at the ramp I had to count the blades 3 or 4 times before I was sure what I was seeing.
Nothing to compare the performance to on those, they were on the boat when he bought it.

Ben and Jeff at Herring are very helpful, a pleasure dealing with them. This will be the first time for these props on a 35, they have been run on a 38 and 42.

Thanks Hering and as always Double R.

what about the issue of more blades more drag , but then again maybe less chance of blade breakage on high Xs or full surfaceing props.

They are going to give the boat more stern lift, so less drag on the boat itself and the 7 blades will help distribute the stress and yes hopefully no more ripping blades........did three last year! ouch! :)

Not a drive killer if you know how to drive your boat properly! If you are doing 40mph and then decide to pin the sticks....well ya, drive killer! accelerate properly and easy, not stressing the drives.......it is simple. People always think it is getting on plane with big wheels that kill the drives, sure you have to be aware but it is more common that on acceleration is when you break the drive.
