Default Difference between 29' and 32'??

Has anyone owned both size Fountains? Year 2000-2001 or so. What is the diffence is space? Is it worth upgrading to a 32' and the extra expense of two motors? How much better is the ride?

Thanks

Single 29's actually have more room between the bolsters & the rear bench... I'd say about almost all 3ft is in the bow. Never rode in a 29, just tied up to one. The ride difference between a 32 & a 35 is pretty noticeable, I'd guess the same thing between the 29 & 32!!

The ride difference between a 32 and a 29 is noticeable. I have a 32 and my friend has a twin engine 29. He prefers to ride in my 32 on holiday weekends.

I measured 27, 29, before buying a 32. 27 and 32 have same cockpit, 29 has about 6" more in cockpit. I like the cockpit to bow proportions of the 32'. As jmore stated the 3' is in the nose. Gives the 32 a low slung look, especially with a race fairing. I looked at a 35 and the cockpit was bigger but looked too forward for my taste. My first twin and fountain, and I like!

Thanks fellas. Keep the thoughts coming in. It sounds like it is worth the cost of twins vs. a single then?

im not sure yet i have actually thought about sitting this year out save some money and buy something next winter but im not pressed to do anything so we will see.

about ride quality of a 32 vs a 29 yes i think the 32 will ride noticeably better, but i guess its all in what u want. i have a single 29 and jmoore has a twin 32 we boat together and run almost identical speeds mine is cheaper to operate but jmoore has more room in the cabin, both boats have their ups and downs but i dont think you will be dissapointed either way
