what do 35, 42, and 47s get for mpg?

35 with 500
35 with 525
42 with 500's
42 with 525's
47 with triple 500's
47 with triple 525's

and other combo's as I am sure I missed a few..

was looking for mpg's at cruise speeds and maybe what the cruise speeds would be for each.

thanks

most stepped Fountains get about 1 to 1.3 gph X mph ... so average 60 mph = 60 gph Speeds below 3500 rpms will get you a little better fuel econ. pushing the 1.3 figure, WOT on the lighter side @.8

Come on man If you have to ask take up BLO boating cause you wont like it when you are running WFO like you will most of the time!
Also GAS is the cheapest part of GO FAST boating

+1 Gas is the least of your worries!! especially if you go twin or triple engines

on the sales side it is a very common question I myself never thought of it as a qualifier for buying a gofast but it is a common question !

It is all very relevant to me, I like details etc... and if it wasn't I would have a 1.5 million dollar boat on order already :)

I can give you some pretty good figures as I am a bit of a detail freek also. I had a 2000 single step 35 Lightning with HP500EFI's and I averaged 20-25 gph when cruising at 3,000 rpm which was about 40-45 mph depending on weight. If I averaged my tanks to included all of the ideling in and out of the 5 mph areas my average at Lake Havasu, where I did most of my boating was 15-16 gph. I think 1.2 to 1.3 mpg is a good figure if you aren't pushing it. If you want to go faster then you will use a lot more gas.
Hope this helps.
