I run a left hand 30 pitch bravo 1 on my 2002 29 but with a blower, not na. Little over 700hp but big torque.
A buddy of mine had a 1998 or 99 29 fever and ran a 27 hydromotive left hand clever style 6,000 rpm's (blower) around 90mph.
I read that Fountain changed the bottom or x dimension around 2000+ and the bravo 1 is the best prop for those newer hulls but the older bottoms like the clever style.
With the 2" shorty it is a crap shoot and testing is the best way.
Mine came from the factory with a 30 bravo 1.
Keep us updated on your testing. I was wondering how that setup would run.
I'm thinking about a nose cone since being above 85mph I heard they help slip alot.

Does anyone know what a 31 Herring 6 blade prop would do on this combo? Currently im using my tabs to get on plane, Probably because of 2' shortie. Would a 6 blade add to much stern lift? How would the bout ride with a 6 blade? Thanks
