Fountain speaker delete LOGO plates

I am looking for the "Speaker Delete" plates that have the fountain logo and light up. I have them in my 93 35' but they have cracks and are ugly and want some new ones. Any Ideas?

I had to trim mine to fit the JBL 6.5" I put in, not a big deal just watch your wires on the starboard side.

All depends on the motor size and depth, but make sure you have clearance for the back of the speaker so you don't "load' it by restricting the air movement.

Not positive, but I think you may be able to take the factory logo/light piece and dissassemble it...get a new piece of acrylic made for it and look like new...maybe some colored acrylic to match your interior!

the light can be dissasembled in 3 pieces & the acrylic has 1" painted ring as the boarder ..easier to buy NEW and you'll have to rewire as the NEW lights dont match the old plugs ..ph@chin Fountain :drink:

Substituted speakers for mine a month or two ago. Didn't want to spend $600 that I was quoted for replacements that I thought dated the boat. You really could redo them or make new with any logo you wanted. Two pieces of plexiglas with LED lights.

I had to do a double take - this looks exactly like my boat !

....those panels are pretty cool until they melt. I'll probably be putting some speakers in there too.

Mine were all melted in the back , spider cracked in front like the pic above.....I just put some white vinyl right over the front, cracks and all then had a sign guy make me some "Fountain" decals .....

This in the pic was only supposed to be something temporary as I was going to get some more vinyl and do something up real nice by bringing all the colors of the boat together in it but I havnt got around to it yet.....the sky is the limit there.....custom airbrushing....something Laser cut/etched and stuck on there.....the name of your boat, "29" script.....anything

Sleepy says Hi......

Will the JL AUDIO MX650-CCX-CG-WH (6.5") fit in the hole with no modification or is the M770-CCX-CG-WH (7.7") the right size???

Thanks!

Ran-Dom 32 10-19-2011 02:53 PM

MX 650 will require a small spacer to cover completely, 7.7 requires trimming. Do a search on here, it has been discussed before.

ALL_IN! 10-19-2011 03:24 PM

Oh, I have been searching - just haven't found the info I'm looking for yet.

By trimming, I'm assuming you mean trimming fiberglass (not trim)???

Thanks

I just replaced my side lights with speakers. 6.5 inch Kenwood. I drilled out the holes with a hole saw to fit the larger speaker magnets.I then made beauty trim rings out of star board to cover the gap and shim the speakers out to keep them off the power sterring hoses. Be careful when cutting infront of the hoses.
