HHhhmmmm, you got a strong runnin' set of 600's too.:drink:

For 600's they sounded a little lopey at the dock, may want to be sure it wasn't misfiring. :lolhit:

chattviper 04-25-2011 12:33 PM

Tks, I am upgrading to some bigger power and was wondering how those SCX uppers hold up.

Just an awesome number in that viideo. Sweet ride. Congrats

Are you guys coming to the Thunder Run on Cumberland?

nick9671 04-25-2011 01:09 PM

I am gonna be honest here, I had a semi-wood all the way up til you stomped on it - then I had a full blown hardon!!!! thats a bad sum*****!

Bullhead 04-25-2011 01:20 PM

Incredible numbers....Brian said Gearld's ran like a scalded dog as well....you tennessee boys should be happy this summer :evilb:

chattviper 04-25-2011 03:32 PM

Thanks guys!

Yea, Brian at Fountain once again made her fly!!! Gerald's Lightning hit 114 w gen and A/C going! I have to post his vid too!

We will be at the Thunder Run in KY and all the TN Poker Runs as well as Jammin on the James.

The SCX's are the only way to go if your not going to #6's and want a bravo set up! I've had mine for one full season w no issues.

Mark, I'm ready to drink a few cold ones with you at Jammin!

Marginmn 04-25-2011 04:17 PM

Thanks for the info. That thing is awesome.

Strip Poker 388 04-25-2011 04:17 PM

redbud35 04-25-2011 05:57 PM

SLOWRIDE-388 04-25-2011 06:13 PM

Bigger power, that would mean you definitely need to bring that bad boy down for the FMO events

Cash Bar 04-25-2011 06:25 PM

Great run. I love the 42PR Hull. Only Fountain I'd own I think. I watched a few of your other vids too.

Reminds me of DollaBill and I running the Sundance 42 to KW, except you did not run out of gas. LOL. :party-smiley-004::lolhit:

I love the colors too.

DollaBill 04-25-2011 07:39 PM

Nice!

kjm5125 04-25-2011 07:52 PM

All things considered it's hard to call my 38 a bad boy but I hope to bring it down next season. :)

575cat 04-25-2011 09:24 PM

your probably running 1.36 gears but what have you got for prop specs ? [ very cool !!! ]

Fanatic 04-25-2011 11:45 PM

Man that thing is impressive...

chattviper 04-26-2011 08:32 AM

Thank you guys!! Appreciate all the kind words!!

It does have 1.36 gears in it and that vid was with Hering 33 7 blades. I kept my 6 blade 32's for acceleration and those places were top speed is not necessary.

Hope to see allot of you at the runs this year!

Cash, Dolla told be about your runs to KW and when he took this boat w blow up dolls strapped in the back seats....Classic!

Again, thanks for all the nice comments!!

575cat 04-26-2011 08:43 AM

So your saying it runs out faster with the 7 blades vs 6 , are the 7 blades thicker castings ? what kind of speeds did you gain from the hp upgrade , sounds by the vid your happy and content .

chattviper 04-26-2011 09:03 AM

Yes, the 6 blades I was all over the rev limiters w this last upgrade (700 cam)

Before the cam upgrade I was 115-118 w 6 blade 32's

I have the 700sci cam, stage II whipple, dyno at 860hp.

I was very impressed with speeds because I did replace the fuel bladders w aluminum tanks which added about another 400lbs.

Yes, happy and content.....for this year! :lolhit:

Did you also go to a two stage sea water pump and have the stock intercooler fittings changed to high flow with the stage II?

vegaskeith 04-27-2011 12:09 AM

You buried that speedo! Awesome!:drink:

c_deezy 04-27-2011 01:28 AM

I love the 42 PR's! Very badass video.

chattviper 04-27-2011 07:16 AM

I didn't have to do the stage 2 sea pump. Both my drives and a separate water pick up feed the sea strainer. I have plenty of water pressure. Yes, i did upgrade to the high flow intercooler fittings.
