So are they going to fill and recut your transom , raise or lower your starboard engine as well as move it forward ? this van is it stationary or are you using it to pull the boat ?

Correct on the mods...as far as I am told.

R3 can elaborate.

The Van is a clone of the Uncle Rico van in Napoleon Dynomite.

I already got a quote from FPM for the rigging/install..its much cheaper than what you would expect.

Bottom line..If we were to buy new..#6's vs Arnesons it would be a toss up. Used, and the savings on #6s vs New Arneons is over 20k.

No need for #6's or Arnesons. Just boat at LOTO where the oily water will easily get you in the 130's. Hull lubrication = speed! :lolhit:

I live in a van down by the river....

Are you trading in your old drives? I understand they hold up great and they would be a bolt on to my set up.

Does anyone know if a XR takes more or less HP than a SCX??

ps used 6's = good choice

I have my SCX's sold. And the standard SCX is much slower than a bravo XR/Sportmaster/IMCO SC lower. I have heard mixed reviews on the new SCX4's.

Dean?? Care to chime in??

My -4s have been working great now that I spaced them down after the first run of the year , have not had a heating problem like what was going on with yours , its great when you can sell some of your stuff to recoupe some of the expense .
