This thread kind of remindes me of a season of Seinfeld. Or maybe gilligans island.

Is it already to cold to test up there?

Not to cold, but certainly to wet and to much lumber in the water. It rained here every day last week. On Tuesday night alone we got over 4" of rain. I have 5 boats that need to be test run and tuned but I'm not about to run them and tear them up. They aren't mine so I'm not about to break them. I did sneak out in a smaller boat this weekend to see how bad the lake was. It wasn't terrible, so I think by the beginning of the week, we should be good to go. The lake was up a few feet after all the rain, and when they open the dam and the level starts to fall, it drags trees out of the woods. It so hilly around here, that when the lake is high, the water goes into the woods and pulls all of the crap out with it. It's not uncommon to have 50-60' trees floating in the lake. The biggest issue is that after they have been in the lake for a few days, they become water logged and will barely float. They may be an inch or 2 below the surface and you won't even see them until you hit them. I just want to be sure that it's clear before I go run.

Same chit happens on the mighty miss every year in the spring. Have known more than 1 idiot that has been out there hauling the mail a few days after the flood has receded. Usually doesn't turn out so well for them!

As soon as Eddie gets done puking all over himself from the stomach flu he can update you homos on the latest info.

The cliffs notes version is....1) Eddie ran boat and froze his a$$ off 2) Eric came to pick up boat (without Keegan this time as he is even a bigger homo than previously thought, and is now into buying Pumpkin Spice colored K5 Jimmys, and no longer wants to help me make hauls) 3) Because I had to make the trip solo, I had no time to lake test boat w Eddie 4) Eric hauls boat back to TRL 5) boat is now in storage till spring cuz I had no one to help me launch and run it when I got back to TRL (see #2 above).

Just in time............this Fountain section has been a little quiet lately !!

Hell, I'd drive to KCMO to help you test run it. That's the making of a story right there.
