Not gonna make the Shootout....had some shipping delays and the Hurricane in NC is causing some issues for RF. Shooting for heading to NC a week from today to test run, and tow it back to Table Rock Lake in time for Labor Day.

Maybe next year...If we dont blow it up again. :evilb:

Thanks for getting back to me last time...In the process of sending my 47 lightning to RF to redo my stringers. also thinking about raising my x dimension to a point where I will be surfacing the whole drive and prop. I have heard that being up that high puts a lot of strain on your prop shaft where as only the bottom half of the prop is pushing the boat. in my mind it's like its trying to break the shaft off. i have heard of late model executioners with ITS drives repeatedly breaking off prop shafts. i am running imco sc lowers 1 1/4 prop shaft, which i think are similar to your sport masters. have you have any trouble with prop shafts or drive failure due to cooling?

Hey 47 lightning , with the other engines I was running 32 15.5 hering 5 bladdes it took about 2800 to get on plane slowly you had to let it do its own thing , the maximus props worked a little better and better cruise rpms in the mid range, now with these engines all I have right now are some stock 35 maximus props which are going to be my spares and these are a little to big or grab to much water , still waiting on my new herings , supposed to be sent out wed 15.5 33 6 blade with the thicker ears for more strength as per jeff at hering , we will see.

Getting close, props should be here tomorrow. Just finishing up the little odds & ends, should be in the water by the middle of next week.

Hey 47 lightning , I believe Reggie would give the best answer on this , I have not had any propshaft problems yet knock on wood , I have got 7 blade 33 props in the works now , as per Reggies recommendation , good luck with yours.

Flying out to RF tomorrow. Should be tuning/testing all day Thursday/Friday.

We got the lowers back from Wilson Performance...Craig Wilson said they were the worst set of lowers he has seen in 30 yrs..lol. Lets hope we got some speed out of them. Craig is a stand up very professional honest guy and was a pleasure to work with. He got our lowers turned around in no time.

Keeping fingers crossed for 115-120...
