hydro hoist

Does anyone have a 38 lightning on a 9k hoist. Kept my 00-35 on for years no problem even in storms ect. This is a 07 38, from what I can see aprox 3 - 400 lbs dif?

Just curious Joe

Nice looking boat!!

wouldn't the added pontoon up the 9k rating or are you saying your 9K came with three pontoons?

JMPH 08-24-2011 09:51 AM

That sounds more like it. :)

My 10k lift has 2 of the same. I added a 3rd tank, 24"dia x 20' for an extra 2k capacity

JMPH 08-24-2011 08:07 PM

how and where do you add it?

Thanks

In the center. Our marine was cutting up old and abanded lifts last winter, so I picked up a HH tank and all the mounting brackets. I don't have a pic of the 3rd tank installed, but it bolted right in. BTW, my lift is a Galva Lift.

Ran-Dom your tanks are longer than mine, I haven't tried it yet but with the staggered alot of boat will hang of back. Thanks for pictures but thinking of going to a hyd., setup.

Thanks Joe
