Default hydro hoist

Does anyone have a 38 lightning on a 9k hoist. Kept my 00-35 on for years no problem even in storms ect. This is a 07 38, from what I can see aprox 3 - 400 lbs dif?

I have my 42 on a 9k hydro hoist, it has the added center lifting pontoons

your 9 k hoist has longer pontoos ,mine are 32' x 23".How long are yours?

wouldn't the added pontoon up the 9k rating or are you saying your 9K came with three pontoons?

My 10k lift has 2 of the same. I added a 3rd tank, 24"dia x 20' for an extra 2k capacity

In the center. Our marine was cutting up old and abanded lifts last winter, so I picked up a HH tank and all the mounting brackets. I don't have a pic of the 3rd tank installed, but it bolted right in. BTW, my lift is a Galva Lift.
