Thanks for posting,but way to much trim you are going to hurt your driveshaft.

What did you have the trimmed to? I never trim past 4. Looks like you are way higher than that.

Thanks, I didnt see that at first.

I have never trimmed mine that high. I thought it would be to much stress on the outdrive.

I believe 5 is max unless idiling. Thats what I do. Perf. report was at 5.

The best way to find your MAX trim setting at WOT is to measure the trim rams then mark your dash. Mercruiser manual states 21 3/4" center-center bolts on the trim ram for WOT operation. Set your drive to this measurement, double check, mark it on the dash. At 21 3/4" my dash indicator reads 6.5 , I never trim higher then 6 to keep within a safe range.
