Yea that is where they normally put them.
You may have a newer style transducer, call livorsi and tell them how many pins are on the wire connection.
It should be under the dash, if not I just ordered a new gauge and transducer.
It comes with instructions on how to mount it. Easy job, just make sure you don't have any air bubbles in the expoxy that is sent.
