I would also agree that you may be getting into some drive reliability issues with your semi-surfacing setup. A pair of XR's or SCX's may be in your future. Good luck and keep us posted.

I can get my hands on a set of 32 maximus to try. Yes I did move the engines and drives. Glassed the transom, re cut the holes, modified the tailpipes, smoothed and painted the bilge ect. It was a big job but worth it. Thanks for the advise everyone.
