Several people will remember this boat, it originally had 850's and 1.5 ratio drives when it was new. We purchased this boat back last November and change it over to 1075' and 1.35 ratio drives. Everything was purchased from Mercury to change it over. ECM's, blower pulleys, and camshafts, the boat ran over 132 in the spring but didn't like the 6 blade props at that speed. We ran 17-38-5blades 16 rake yesterday, I think we are getting close. The boat is really a fun piece now, thanks’ to all for the positive comment. Also it would not have been possible without the help from EB Marine in Nashville and Brian at Fountain.
R.B. Great lookin boat and some impressive speeds too. :evilb: |
Sick machine bro!

RBH, was this the same boat ??? Wyatt drove it when it was new at our poker run in 08. It had 850's in it then, and I believe it ran about 120 ish. The 2 Merrit brothers from Mi. owned it then, bought it from Scott Shogren.
Great lookin boat and some impressive speeds too. :evilb: |
RBH, whats up your sleeve now , what are you shootin for in power ?

Bottoms the same, but I'm willing to bet Fountain kept raising the drives through the years till you could barely get on plane if you liked thick chicks.
|
Yes same hull, but x was raised every year & the props changed from 5 to now 7 blades.

Nice video, but I do not believe that audio is from the 42.......must be a boat closer to the camera's mic that is not seen ???

Real Fast Marine
I remember the boat well. It ran great and was a blast when I ran it with the Merritt brothers in Chicago a few years ago. Outstanding boat, outstanding dealer (Shogren), outstanding customers (Merritt's) The boat still looks fantastic. If we can assist with anything please give us a call at 252.561.6070 ..... our website is under development but our facebook is up (Real Fast Marine)......we can service drives, engines, etc.... and keep you going in championship style....we have winter storage and we also offer a high performance driving school where you get one on one instruction in your own boat.
