Default Going to buy a 1996 42.. Any problems to look for?

Im going to finalize the deal on a 1996 fountain 42 staggered.
buying it with out motors or drives. So what are major problem areas to be on the look out for with the hull?? The history on the boat is it had 700sc's in it and now has been sitting for a few years. Thanks -Joe

On a 96 I would think a good survey of the hull would be in order. In your case the engine and drives will be in your hands after purchase, just make sure the hull is good and you should be in fine shape. No specific issues with a 96 42 that I have ever heard of.

I am curious about what you are paying for the Fountain. I tried buying a 42 w/o power last year but the guy selling was way over priced and woudn't play ball at all. If you don't mind saying I would very intereted in what the right price should be. Thanks.

I'm assuming this is the boat he is referring to, It was @ National OH repo at one point, I noticed whoever has the listing has changed the price a few times
