Default 42 Lightning - LOA???

Does anyone have the overall length of a 42' Lighnting? WHat I am looking for is from the tip of the Bow (Beak) to the back of the Stern Drives (furthest point)? I am considering looking for a 42 but want to make sure I can get it in my Garage.

According to Fountain, the 42's overall length is 42'. Of course, the real measurement you need is the total LOA of the boat on the trailer.

To the rear of the drive, you'd probably would have to add about 2' for a total length of 44'. With a trailer + 50'?

Measured mine several years ago. It was very close to 47' from the front of the trailer to the tips of the drives in the up position(bravos).

well over 50' with trailer tongue and if drives are up. You can pick up a foot if you put them down
