That's a beautiful boat Rob, I am sure you will have no trouble getting 25 for it, its just the time of year that's killing you. If you can hold on till April, you could probably get closer to 30.

just my .02

I agree. That's a wicked engine. Winter is tough time to sell most often but there are still a lot of people who do buy boats in the dead of winter. My last two were winter purchases.

You're right too bout spring time. For a lot of people, boats are definitely an impulse buy.

Good luck! Ain't nobody placed a bid on my sale yet either.

If you guys want to get a fall deal on a new boat, you have to either give your boat away now or borrow agaiinst it to get a deal now. The only other option is to go w/o a boat for the summer.
If you sell your boat for cheap now and get a deal on a bigger boat now .. What is the differnece. Less buying competition now for sure. If you wait and get the right money for your boat till spring. All the bankers w big money will be buyiing up all the sweet rides. I took close to a 10 grand loss on my boat , (vs spring time sale,) but I got at least that off my new boat . Hope this helps

Why not pull the 598 out and replace with one of the motors from the 35. Sell the other motor from the 35 and use the money from the sale of the 27 and other motor to build another 598 for the 35

Mmm.... I don't know... Not saying that the boat itself isn't nice, but the mill is the main reason why I would consider her, if I were shopping for a 27.
So, I wouldn't bother moving blocks around.
She'll sell for the price she deserves, eventually.
Good luck to the OP!

ive got that on my plate . although building and rigging another 600 incher can be expensive little feet . its not cheap , consider the swap , 4.5 mofflers back to 4 inch on the 27 . im sure some kind gasket . can be found . im deffinately contemplating the swap thats a given !!!! boy that 35 would roll no doubt
