Default ladder lid ideas

Any body have any good ideas as far as different hold down latches or latch , it would be nice to have a single flush style latch . since now I have a clean slate to start with .

Try 3M Dual Lock. It is like a super duty Velcro made out of plastic, not fabric.

I would have one like on the cabin door. They hold on tight and alow it to "flex" (therefor it is always tight). I hate the vibrating sound of the hatch when the exhaust is open...

I would like to have something flush mounted with a stud or something in the ladder area . smooth & clean looking but nothing to snag yourself on . even if you put your hand in the cutout to release it ?

I don't know if there is quite enough room, or if we could find one, but a bear claw latch with a remote release would be awesome

If you mount spring latches on the inside, you could put a 5/8 hole for your finger to release it. Also if it is on the inside. You could Glass a mounting bracket on it and it would not be visible. The holes would never get wallered out. I wonder if there would be room.

the hot set up would be a Stainless cable between the 2 latches. And it could be accessable by reacing in the handle area in the center of the cover. Would not need any holes then
