I bought a 1995 24 CS with a 454 magnum EFI 2 weeks ago. I take it out on the mississippi river and have to run it through tow boat wake alot. At the right speed and the right trim/trim tab settings i think the boat handles the waves quite well (and a northbound towboat pushing 40+ loaded barges puts out one hell of a big wake) but if you keep the tabs up and stay at 3000+ rpms then yes it does get a little rough. I love mine and hope to start doing some upgrades soon.
