Default Fuel sender location, 27 Fever

Have a 1997 27 Fever, fuel gauge not working, have power, suspect sending unit? Barried on empty. Quick look over and didnt see a hatch or anything to access the sending unit, have only owned the boat a few months so I'm new to it . Thanks
