The only thing that you might want to try is a labbed finished 30. The HO stops making power around 5000rpms with a rev limiter or 5150. So if you can get that RPMs up on a stock 30 to 4800 or better I would labbed it and try that. Last but not least the Tachs are not perfect spot on accurate so a second mini tach is also a good idea. Good luck! Enjoy the new boat

Exactly correct. No one ever seems to invest in a way to get accurate engine speeds. Story sounds exactly like mine.

And if you go with the 30 you will have to cut it way down with stock power but if you can move just a little bit of extra water when slip goes up you will still go faster.

You can probably get it to a solid 70 depending on boat, what you have stored in the boat, fuel load etc.

Nice meeting you yesterday.

Looks like you spin the prop left. You should try my 27p Hydro and see how you like it.

Yeah... it had been a long day for me...

As soon as we got going, I realized that. When you asked, I turned around to think about the prop and it looked right at the time...

So what did you notice when you tried the 27p Hydro on your boat?

Interesting...

I don't think so. The wife has a friend in town and they're going shopping, etc. She is usually my 2nd half when getting the boat on/off the trailer, etc.
