Unhappy Sold my 27 today

After 8 years of ownership, I sold my '91 today (yeah, the one with the Volvo). Very hard to see it towed away. It sure was clean for a 21 year old boat. The family wasn't happy with it- they want to do the watersports thing, so it's a MasterCraft instead. At my age (and frugality) it will most likely never be replaced. I wasn't on here a lot, but I thank all of you for the help over the years- I learned a lot here, mostly by lurking. Lots of good people and good info. I wanted a Fountain since I knew what a boat was. If I win the lottery, I'll be in the market for a nice 35 (and a lake house to keep it at!) Thanks again--

Don't be a stranger just because you are boat less. You have knowledge and somebody elses questions may be answered by you.
Have fun with new ride!

some day the kids will be gone or not interested. There are some nice hybrids. Dont get me wrong mambas ans MC's are nice but are almost just as much one sided as a performance boat. But if thats all you want to do and have a nice calm lake they are great boats and good luck.

Man, I dont know you but you sound sad, I've felt that way many times selling things, I remember the fun I had, and you can always get another one....maybe a bigger, faster one. LOL

Yeah, I'm definately sad about it, but me being the only one who enjoyed the boat made water time a bit slim. We'll be on the water more now, but nothing can replace standing in the bolster of a Fountain at WOT. You guys know what I mean. I'll still check in here occasionally- I'll always have Fountain in my blood.
