Default 1991 27 Fever Question

Looked at a 27 fever yesterday. Boat seemed to be in nice shape except- both my friend and I noticed that the outer stringer on the port side sounded hollow when we knocked on it w/ our hands. Is this most likely an indication that the coring is rotted? The main stringer on the port side that the motor bolts to seemed solid though. There were no other indications of any issues or repairs when looking, just when knocking. Deal breaker?
Thanks: Matt

i have a 91 29 and it seems depending on what you knock on there will be different noises. I guess something could be wrong but it coul be solid as well. I would get a surveyor and find out for sure.

You'll have better and more knowledgable response if you put this on the "Fiberglass and Paint" forum. You'll get some good help there...good luck.
