I would go with 1 inch, but every boat is a little different when you get to really dialing them in. I tried different spacers, props and changes to props to get the boat to where it was the best in my opinion. The people I know with real high x demensions all have had issues with props, shafts, and drives with Bravos. For normal cruising I ran a really good set of 4 blade Bravo 1 props so as to not load everything so hard. The boat still ran around 94 and the engines were real happy as they say. Chad good luck with Herrings.

ARB38, I think your right with the 4 blade to save your drives. The last year I had my boat I throw a blade in the middle Gulf during a run an another boater had a spare set of bravo's 30 4 blade put them on never thinking it would get on plane but to my surprise it was like a dragster off the line. Still ran in the upper 80's turned out to be a good run. We missed the lunch but caught up with everybody coming back got my helicopter shots a won second place and found out that you can run 4 blades with a 22 1/2" X Dim and have great throttle response.

just biting my nails here. the speedmaster lowers I bought . Not only had the fin bent on each, the one fin was. sectioned (piece spliced on the fin) about 4 inches across the bottom. Now. The starboard lower gears went. And all the **** from the gears ran through the upper and saturated the drive I just had rebuilt. Didn't even ger a tank of fuel through it.
I'm just hopin my lower case is usable.. My buddy is flyin in today and I may not have my boat ready for tomorow when he gets here to go testing !!!

Thats right borrow a set of 4 blades and try them you might be surprised it shocked the hell out of me. I didn't even want to waste my time trying them but sitting in the ocean an about 40 miles from the trailer everybody in the boat kept saying just try them. After that I carried a garbage set of 30's in the boat. The hydro's I had were 5 blade 31 by 15 1/2"

Chad, I have some stock XR lowers if you need something for spares. They have about 10 hours on them. They came on the 03 boat when it was new from the factory. Same condition as the props you got from me.
