Again I have a 98 29 fever 454s. I know how much fuel I put in it. But sometimes the low fuel light is on and sometimes it is not. But I have no idea just how much the tank holds. Or about how much is left when the low light does come on. Anyone know for sure?

The sending unit has two very small adjustment screws on it, one marked empty and one marked full. Run it to near empty and set the empty level just before "e" then fill it up and set the full right at full. When my light comes on I have about 4 gallons of fuel left, so I gas up at 1/4

My 2006 29' Fever holds 132 gallons. I've also read 140 gallons. I have heard from others as the tank has a bit of a "V" shape to so the first 1/4 goes down very slowly and it gets progressively faster. The last 1/4 of a tank may hold only an 1/8 of the total capacity. Several members have said when their gauge reads 1/4 they are nearly out! I will explore the last 1/4 reading sometime this summer when I have an extra 20 gallons onboard and am right out in front of my home.

just a piece of advice is do not fill your tank completely then let it sit in the heat and sun all week cause the fuel will expand, run out the vent down the side of the boat and will mess up paint jobs, wraps and gelcoat I have seen it happen twice already. I never have a full tank until Im ready to run and burn some off that same day or weekend.
