If you can get into a 29' 525 that would be the boat to buy. Was on e for sale here in Jacksonville Fl I think he was asking $57,000 don't know if it sold If your intrested I could give the owner a call

I'm always open for leads if you don't mind. Is it a salt water boat, what year?

Absolutely - if you have a lead on a 29' 525, post it. We've been tire kickin' !

Question 9. Would you sleep 2 adults, 1 child for 2 nights weekly on boat thru summer months?

Me? No way. You? Maybe, but I'm guessing you'll only do this once or twice. By the end of the first weekend you'll be reciting a phrase from the movie JAWS, 'We're going to need a bigger boat.'

That's definately the phrase I've been saying for the past couple years! We sleep on our 24' Maxum every weekend and have to constantly fumble around with the filler cushions to make the bed, etc. I was hoping in the 29 with the bed already made it'd be like staying in a hotel, lol, minus the A/C of course. :lolhit:

If you sleep that much on a boat I personally don't think the 29 is the way to go. There is no way me and my wife and daughter would do it in our 29.

If you want to spend the night you could but it's gonna suck compared to a cruiser.

Do a better search most of those questions are answered on here. Good luck finding one in that price range, unless people are taking rude offers on the very few for sale they are going much higher then that.

This is a little off your topic but related, I am looking at getting a 29 Fever too ( 1998 or so) and I am 6' 3" and could not even sit in the seat, my knees hit the dash and had absolutely no where to go with the seat up, can anyone besides a midget sit in one? Would Reggie build a boat that would only fit himself sitting down. Does the seat adjust back in any way or is the only option to stand?

Thanks for the advice and info guys. I'm going to find one to crawl around on before we buy anything to see how much room or lack there of it has and see if we can make it work for how we use the boat. What I want might be out of my price range from what 'breakitout' says. I had found a 2002 twin in California for $40k so I didn't think a 2002 single 525 was too far fetched @ ~$50k.
