Transom cut for high, X dimention, Drives built with the best components of its day from Drew.Turning a 1:36 ratio i cruise at 70(not even working my motors) while my buddies are stressing there stuff out to keep up. My deck has been reinforced with new stringers along with the gunnels having horizental stringers added. My cockpit has been moved 14 inches toward the stern making it a corvette cockpit with an extra long beak. The entire boat has been striped and put back together making it ultamitly "ROCK SOLID". The fiberglass came out prestine, looks like a true race boat. Most fountains have the wnidsheilds in the center on the boat leaving a huge cockpit (half the boat!!) Nothing beats the look of a short cockpit leaving a loong, sleek beak in the sunset. It just looks like its pulling 100 mph on the trailer. All with only 8 HOURS ON THE BOAT!! As many of you know this is 2112's previous fountain. There is not another Fountain out there built to this standared. Drew from "Drew marine" knows this boat personally and calls it the best Fountain built("Bullet Proof") As stated about the time and money invested inorder to go fast I agree with your oppinion. Unless your going in head first with big cubic inches 588,632 etc, best components money can buy, i feel the money spent doing upgrades to only obtain 600 horse is almost a waist.(You don't pay much you don"t get much). Spending thousands to gain 8 or mabe 10 mph doesnt make sense. If you want to go fast bite the bullet and get fresh BIG CUBIC INCHES with big reliable horsepower 750, 800 etc. (THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT) a wise saying my engine builder once told me . With that being said i beleive its better to just run these boats with the factory power and enjoy them. Fountain offers a great hull and with factory power you are going to be much faster than the majority of the boats out there. A far as I am concerned with investing in upgrades its a "GO BIG OR GO HOME" sport.
I have seen your boat, and I agree it looks great. However this is not an apples to oranges thing with what glenn is doing.

Someone lost their azz on your boat. Are you suggesting Glenn take his boat off the water for two years, retool, reengineer, and invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into it just to "go big or go home"?? Weird

I think he is on the right track. He is adding blue engines (will increase his value) His HP is in spec of what the new xrs are rated for. And he should gain 10 mph naturally aspirated. Which will put him in the "top 5" speed wise, vs the other boats that normally frequent the lake he boats on.

Yes, Thank you Glen George. Nothing beats the bark of Stellings big tube dry headers. Although Drew set me up with a couple sets of his shot gun mufflers to keep reversion out of the equation with my radical cams it still sets off a great rumble.
My question is how to upload pictures. I am not a big computer guru

Gotta pay $$$ or email it to someone who has.

Also the 32's have a SMALL cockpit as is, what is your bolsters sitting on top of your back bench if the windshield is moved back that far?

Glen is building a great package that makes a lot of sense.

Should he choose, he will be able to go out and run the boat to its potential without fear of breaking every time he hits the water.

That is what pleasure boating is all about.

jmoore, you hit the nail on the head. With the windsheild pushed back that distance you are limited to 2 passengers. One in the seat next to the driver and the other in the center of the rear bench seat. You have to be a midget in order to fit behind the driver or passenger seat( it is quite tight). We use that as our excuse to deny ride alongs.

Kelly O, I think you may have misunderstood my previous post, I think the improvements GlenGeorge is doing are absolutley beneficial for the style boating we do. A set of 500 are a definite jump from the old black 502 mpi's. I was just elaborating on the different avanues one can take when starting to brainstorm different powerplant upgrades. Its a buyers market in this economy and you can go from mild to wild depending on what fits your boating style best. I apologize if I came off the wrong way.
By the way, If you plan on attending the Cayuga Lake Run this summer keep an eye on the "NEW BLUE 32"!!! I just had state of the art mirrior's installed to keep an eye on the pack.

Default Finger lakes

Very well spoken KELLY O,we do a lot of our boating on cayuga lake. We go to Long Point State launch which in my oppinion is one of the finest launches in NYS. Its deep, clean, plenty of parking, short ride from the driveway, and protected from the lake, easy in, easy out. The lake is clean and most off all there is plenty of water, we cruise the shoreline looking at real estate with no worries of running into 6 inches of water. Used to do the majority of my boating on oneida lake, however that changed immediatly once a friend suggested this launch on cayuga. There is A LOT more navagable water than oneida, and the word is it is A LOT more outdrive friendly
I plan on seeing you at the cove, made it there a few times toward the end of the season. Got stuck waiting on carbs to be shipped back from BIGS PERFORMANCE.Idles great now, Night and day.
