out of nowhere my fuel gauge stopped working. When the key is turned it will spike to about a quarter tank, even though I had just completely filled it up. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Time to replace. Mine did the same thing. Before u replace check your ground. Look down a few threads there is one about a 35 that had same situation.
