Those tachs are probably just reading high a little bit ... ya' know .... they're never quite as accurate as you would like to think

Means nothing to this thread. 38/700's are much more rare than 42/700's, and this 38 being discussed is loaded.

ECM's have been upgraded to 5850 and slightly smaller pulleys. With stock pulleys and upgraded ECM's it ran 121. It took 4 miles to get to 121. Boat will run 118 with 35 pitch props and on video we were running 37's. Brian blueprinted the bottom and worked on the lower units, sanding, trueing them. Engines have never had a wrench on them. Tachs are a little off as smartcraft shows 5850 and 5870 as max.
